Towards Lefschetz Thimbles in Sigma Models, I

چکیده

We study two dimensional path integral Lefschetz thimbles, i.e. the possible integration contours. Specifically, in examples of O(N) and $$\mathbb{C}{{\mathbb{P}}^{{N - 1}}}$$ models, we find a large class complex critical points sigma model actions which are relevant for theory finite volume at temperature, with various chemical potentials corresponding to symmetries models. In this paper discuss case O(2m) models sector zero instanton charge, as well some solutions O(2m + 1) model. The -model all charges more general O(N)-model odd N will be discussed forthcoming paper.
